Dr. Zimrisa Loga
Dr. Loga enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and welcomes patients of all ages. She believes that patient education is crucial when it comes to dental visits. Her goal is to maintain a transparent relationship with all of her patients and to make every experience comfortable and enjoyable. Dr. Loga enjoys getting to know all of her patients and will take the time to answer any questions you may have.
Dr. Loga is very passionate about giving back to her community through volunteer work. She has provided free dental care to locals in remote villages in Peru through a dental mission trip. She found this to be a truly humbling experience and would love to have the opportunity to help out again in the future. While in school, she was an avid volunteer with the SHINE dental clinic that focused on providing free emergency dental care to Edmonton’s underserved population. In her spare time, Dr. Loga enjoys being in the outdoors, hiking, travelling and spending time with her husband and family.

Dr. RK Grover
Originally from Kinistino, Saskatchewan, Dr. Grover earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 1995. He soon relocated to Medicine Hat, Alberta, where he dedicated the next 30 years to providing comprehensive family dental care and building lasting relationships with patients and the community.
After five years as an associate, Dr. Grover established and led his own practice for 25 years. Alongside a committed team, the majority of whom served alongside him for more than two decades, he created an environment centered on attentive, patient-focused care. His guiding philosophy remains straightforward: listen carefully, communicate clearly, and ensure every patient feels comfortable and well-supported with a gentle touch throughout their visit.
Throughout his career, Dr. Grover has offered a full spectrum of family dentistry services, including crowns and bridges, splints and nightguards, and orthodontic treatment with clear aligners. He remains committed to the latest advancements in digital dentistry to provide precise, efficient, and comfortable care. His dedication to outstanding care earned his talented team community recognition for the past six consecutive years.
Outside the office, Dr. Grover and his wife, a former respiratory therapist and current classical Pilates instructor, raised four accomplished children, now thriving in careers in medicine, accounting, education, and engineering. Their two lively French Bulldogs, Double Trouble and Rebel Rozy, keep home life full of energy and joy.
Dr. Grover remains actively involved in the profession as a member in good standing of the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta, the Canadian Dental Association, the Alberta Dental Association and College, the Calgary and District Dental Society, the Medicine
Hat and District Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Clear Aligners and Clearly Select.
Dr. Grover is thrilled to join the excellent team at Sierra Dental. He looks forward to focusing on clear aligner therapy and delivering personalized, modern orthodontic care to help patients enjoy healthy, confident smiles for years to come.

Dr. Katheline Cao
Dr. Katheline is passionate about helping patients feel calm, cared for, and confident in the dental chair. She provides gentle, patient-focused care in a welcoming and positive environment, and enjoys helping patients feel more comfortable and informed throughout their dental care.
She believes in meeting patients where they are and understands that everyone has different needs, goals, and comfort levels when it comes to dentistry. Dr. Kat takes the time to listen, explain treatment options clearly, and work together with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan that feels clear, manageable, and tailored to them. She enjoys helping patients feel encouraged and motivated to take a more active role in their oral health.
Dr. Kat was born in Winnipeg and raised in Vancouver. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney in Australia. After graduating, she had the opportunity to live and practise general dentistry in a beautiful rural beach town in Australia before returning to Canada to continue caring for patients here.
When appropriate, Dr. Kat brings a light-hearted and positive approach to appointments, helping make the dental experience feel more relaxed and enjoyable. She loves being a dentist and values the relationships she builds with her patients, treating each person with the same kindness, respect, and attention that she would want for her own friends and family.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kat loves connecting with others and spending quality time with her family and friends. Together, they enjoy creating new memories, trying different experiences, going on mini adventures, and bringing lightness, laughter, and fun into everyday moments — often with music, singing, and dancing along the way. Dr. Kat speaks English and Vietnamese.

Dr. Javier Cabrales

Dr. Javier Cabrales completed the Graduate Periodontics program at the University of Manitoba in June 2020. Prior to his periodontal training, he received his DMD from the University of Saskatchewan in 2014 and thereafter worked as a general dentist for 3 years prior to entering postgraduate studies.
As a trained periodontist, he specializes in the placement of dental implants and the management of periodontal disease. This includes the following:

Dr. Faraz Tavoossi
Certified Orthodontic Specialist
Dr. Tavoossi loves sharing his passion for orthodontics and believes that being an orthodontist is the most rewarding career, as it allows him to create beautiful smiles while building meaningful connections with his patients. Outside the clinic, Dr. Tavoossi enjoys staying active with basketball and tennis, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. He has volunteered in Guatemala, providing free dental care to underserved communities, and also participated in a dental exchange program in Germany.

Dr. Kiarash Shabehpour
Endodontist | Read Reviews
Dr. Kiarash Shabehpour (or Dr. Kia as his patients and colleagues tend to call him) is a Certified Specialist in Endodontics. He finished his specialist training at the University of British Columbia, where he is currently a clinical instructor helping with training of the next generation of Endodontists.
Dr. Shabehpour practices in both Alberta and British Columbia and along with his team, helps his patients and colleagues with root canal related procedures on a referral basis. He is fluent in both English and Farsi.
When not working, he loves spending time with his family, indulges in martial arts of Judo or can be found on the slopes, skiing.
Dr. Shabehpour is proud supporter of animal rescue groups worldwide.

Dr. Leslie Afable, DDS, MS Endodontics, FRCDC

She went on to provide endodontic care in the Metro Detroit area before relocating to Calgary, where she is thrilled to bring her expertise to the local community. Dr. Afable is known for her gentle approach, clinical precision, and commitment to patient-centred care.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys exploring Calgary’s food scene with her fiancé and spending time with their cat.

Dr. Choo-Soon Kua, DDS, FRCDC
Certified Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Kua is a Certified Specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery born and raised in Calgary. He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary in 2008. Dr. Kua obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Western Ontario in 2012. Following completion of his doctorate, Dr. Kua practiced general dentistry in Calgary and Bowden Correctional Institution for two years before being accepted into and completing his specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial
Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. His residency consisted of rotations in anaesthesia, general surgery, otolaryngology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and critical care medicine. He is trained in all aspects of anaesthesia, complex dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, head and neck trauma, orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery), oral and maxillofacial pathology, maxillofacial reconstruction and temporomandibular joint
disorders.
Dr. Kua is excited to offer a broad range of oral and maxillofacial surgery services to Calgary and
surrounding areas.

Roni Yusefov

In his free time, Roni likes to spend it outdoors fly fishing for trout, playing basketball, hockey and of course spending time with family and friends.
Roni is always putting his patients’ needs first, using his excellent level of commitment, skill and patience in both his professional and personal life ( we all know the patience you need to catch a fish)
His words to go by are “changing lives one smile at a time” which he strives to achieve with every patient.

Manjot
Manjot enjoys creating meaningful relationships with her patients and making positive differences in their oral health. She strives to provide each client with a unique and tailored experience by listening and adapting to each patient’s needs and concerns.
In her spare time, Manjot enjoys the outdoors and staying active. She feels grateful to live close to the Rockies and frequently visits the mountains to hike and enjoy the scenery. She also enjoys playing various sports some of which include soccer, basketball, badminton and volleyball. Manjot is very thankful for her large East Indian family and spends any remaining time with them.

Lindsay
Lindsay was born and raised in Calgary and moved to Airdrie nine years ago. Outside of work, she is a proud mother of two daughters, ages 4 and 7. When not caring for her patients, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and travelling whenever possible.
